For all of you who haven't seen the belly, here it is! Jen has been rapidly growing around the middle the last few weeks. She is beyond the point where she can hide it, past the morning sickness, and regained her appetite and energy level--the sweet spot.

This is the place we stayed at in Olympic National Park on Crescent Lake. The park trails winded right past our front door into the woods. We spent a couple of days hiking in the surrounding hills and a rainy afternoon in the glassed in porch looking out at the foggy lake.

These little cottages have acted as retreats since the time that Roosevelt came through and stayed on the lake. The look so small, tucked in the mountains, under the towering pines. 

This was the view from the beach in front of our cottage at Olympic National Park. It was a great setting, as the nature trails wind their way from the lodge into the park for a quick hike.
