
The barber got me good. I went in to get a NORMAL haircut before the wedding, one where my hair could be parted and combed, and where my forehead was less exposed to the elements.
Ok, some of the blame belongs to me. I did go to the barber across from the Marine Barracks whose clientele is primarily African American, but in my defense this is not the haircut I asked for. What you can't see is the long wisp of uneven hair that is pushed back from the front. Think of a rat tail from the 80's but jutting from my bangs. John Ratigan was kind enough to inform me, in a nice way, how bad my haircut was.
Motto of the barber shop, "It pays to look well" Hmmn... Shouldn’t that be, “It pays to look good”?
