Wedding Crashers

Jenna, our fellow wedding buddy (we have been at three Peace Corps weddings together in the last couple of years), was in town to start an internship at the Utne Reader. I don�t know if this is official, but she holds the record for longest time without washing a pair of jeans. Was it a year?

Jenna is working for the Utne Reader this fall. Congrats. We went down to check out her new work environs. Here is a view from her office in Loring Park neighborhood. It is near the Walker and Basilica.

We got to eat at our favorite breakfast joint in St. Paul, Day by Day, with my parents. Eggs with a cause; it is a self-sustaining, drug/alcohol treatment program. We also like the vibe of the place.

Jen and I decided that there are fewer funky places in DC; things here are just a bit more slick and polished. Less artwork climbing the walls.
